4) Choose one area of the triptych that you feel could use more attention to make it more effective and write why you think this is.

Answers

1) The first panel represents the Anime part of me because I like to watch, draw and read Anime. The second panel is my family and friends. I really enjoy playing and hanging out with my family and friends. They are a huge part of my life because they are always with me, at home, movies… etc. The last panel represents the travelling part of my life because I have travelled to many places and really like to go to different places to experience the food, how they do stuff, activities… etc and to take many pictures.

2) I used line in the first panel, the Anime part, with the middle page/note. It uses line well because the edges of the page are all leading the viewer’s eyes to the 4 corners which are the examples of Anime characters that I put. I used the element of texture with the travelling panel of my triptych. This part shows texture on the buildings because they have a rough look and the shadows create depth on the picture plane making them look more 3D. Shape is being used in my middle panel about friends and family because the heads of all the people are creating different shapes on the picture plane. The colour is also being used in my middle panel because there are many different colour shirts.

3) I think that the middle panel is my area of strength because I have many friends and my family members are always with me. If I were to give everything except one thing that I was allowed to keep, I would keep my family and friends because they are most important to me.

4) The Anime part of my triptych could have a lot more work done to it because it’s a bit empty compared to the other 2 panels. I think that I could add a few more pictures to cover up the empty space that is left there to make it more alike the other 2 panels.
